Who We Are

At Belmont, we have 4 National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) chapters:

Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Sigma Tau, Kappa Alpha Theta, and Phi Mu

Our community is home to people from various backgrounds, passions, and involvements across all of campus. Together, we make up one large community of empowered panhellenic members who are committed to community, academic excellence, leadership, and philanthropy. We strive to make everyone to feel included, welcomed, and loved authentically for who they are.

Our Values

  • Knowledge

    Our Panhellenic members consistently achieve a cumulative grade point average that is higher than the Belmont student average and the non-Greek affiliated student average. We are involved in almost every major, club, or student organization and often hold a majority of the top student leadership roles on campus. We encourage members to focus on their academics by hosting weekly study hours and recognizing academic achievements.

  • Responsibility

    Along with leadership opportunities in their own chapters, many of our Panhellenic members hold leadership positions all over campus - this includes Student Government officers, Orientation Council leaders, Towering Traditions leaders, Bruin Recruiters, Spiritual Life Assistants, Student Activities Programming Board officers, and so many more. Look at any organization on campus, and most likely you will find someone in Greek life.

  • Unity

    Our chapter members get to form life-long friendships with not only members of their own chapters, but with members from other chapters on campus as well. Along with our weekly chapter meetings, we have socials, philanthropy opportunities, siblinghood activities, and so many different events to take part in. Some of our biggest events include semi-formal, formal, and Greek Sing. Because we do not have housing on campus, the time we spend together is even more precious and creates more space for authentic relationships to be built.

  • Action

    Each sorority has their own individual philanthropy that they support and raise money for. Chapters host events like Theta Rocks the CASA and Mardi Tau that are open to other chapters and the Belmont community. Panhellenic wide we support St. Jude and host Greek Sing every year to raise money. We as a group record charitable contributions of over $100,000 and log tens of thousands of community service hours throughout the Nashville and global communities.

The Panhellenic Creed

We, as Undergraduate Members of women’s fraternities, stand for good scholarship, for guarding of good health, for maintenance of fine standards, and for serving, to the best of our ability, our college community. Cooperation for furthering fraternity life, in harmony with its best possibilities, is the ideal that shall guide our fraternity activities.

We as Fraternity Women, stand for service through development of character inspired by the close contact and deep friendship of individual fraternity and Panhellenic life. The opportunity for wide and wise human service, through mutual respect and helpfulness, is the tenet by which we strive to live.
